Key challenges for policy & business

The conference, organised by Veneto Innovazione - the Veneto Regional Agency for Innovation - in close cooperation with Paxis Partners, will bring together the best regional examples of innovative Start-up mechanisms, in particular on innovative finance. It will present transfer schemes as well as governance models and new European sources aimed at fostering the implementation of innovative finance mechanisms.

The goal is to offer an improved understanding of successful mechanisms to finance innovation. The presentations will focus on the exchange of experiences and the transfer of knowledge on how to set up and run innovation-financing models.

The event is addressed to PAXIS partners, local, regional and national decision makers, business support representatives, financing organisations and other players involved in the start-up development, who want to strengthen regional growth and innovation, by providing the right financing context and tools. The conference will also deal with EU Innovation policy within the new European countries.

In particular the meeting will consider:

• New European initiatives to finance innovation 
•  The best practices in innovation financing based on the PAXIS experience
•   The challenges and success factors to transfer the best practices
•   How to integrate innovation financing into regional development strategies.
